1. United Kingdom delivery

What is the UK delivery charge?

The delivery charge for UK orders is automatically displayed in your shopping cart. It starts at £3 per order and varies depending on the total weight of your order.

How do you deliver my order and how long will it take?

For UK delivery we normally use Royal Mail Standard First Class service, or Parcelforce for heavier items. It usually takes 2 to 5 working days.

2. International shipping

What is the International shipping charge?

The charge for International shipping is automatically displayed in your shopping cart. The rate for  Europe (outside the UK) begins at £7, and for destinations outside Europe (for example to the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, etc) begins at £10.

How do you ship my order and how long will it take?

For International shipping we normally use Royal Mail International Standard Airmail, or Parcelforce Worldwide for heavier items. It usually takes 5 to 8 working days for customers in Europe, and 8 to 12 working days for customers outside Europe. Please note that the delivery times are an estimate only and are not guaranteed by Royal Mail. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery. Tracking is not part of these services. Be aware that any international order will be despatched at the customer’s own risk.

What about Custom duties and fees on imported goods?

Any applicable customs duties and any associated assessments and fees related to importing goods to another country will be the responsibility of the Purchaser.

3. Payment

How do I pay?

We use PayPal to take payment. This allows you to pay using a major credit or debit card, or by using a PayPal account. Credit card information is not collected or held by Oxgarth Press. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

4. Order status

Has my order shipped?

We aim to ship your order within 2 to 3 days, unless the item is out of stock, in which case we will contact you.

Can I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

Please use the Contact us link immediately if you would like to cancel or change your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order can no longer be altered.

I have not received my order

Please use the Contact us link to inform us of any problems with delivery.

An item is missing from my shipment

5. Stock availability

What happens if an item is out of stock?

Orders are shipped subject to availability of stock at the time. If stock is not available, Oxgarth Press will email you and offer you the opportunity to order another item of the same value or a refund for the out of stock item(s) and associated shipping costs.

6. Cancelling an order

Can I cancel my order?

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase you can cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Please email us using the Contact us link to agree the return of the goods and supply a receipt or proof of purchase. Goods must be returned unused, in the same condition that you received them, and preferably in their original packaging. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return the goods to us. Once you cancel an order you must send the goods back to us within 14 days. A refund comprises the price of the goods plus the original cost of the least expensive delivery option.

7. Faulty goods

My goods were faulty when they arrived, what should I do?

If your goods were faulty when you received them, you can email us using the Contact us link to return them. We will ship out a replacement, if available, or make a full refund of the cost of the goods plus a reasonable amount to cover the cost of sending the goods back to us. Goods must be returned unused, in the same condition that you received them, and preferably in their original packaging. You must contact us by email within 14 days of receipt of the goods to agree the return of the goods and supply a receipt or proof of purchase. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days.

8. Returning goods

Where do I return goods to?

Goods for return should be posted to: Oxgarth Press, 1 Cleeves Avenue, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 5PB, United Kingdom. You should consider using a trackable shipping service and shipping insurance, as we can accept no liability for items not received.

9. Refunds

How are refunds arranged?

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. We have the right to deduct a certain amount from refunds where goods show signs of unreasonable use that has led to diminished value. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days of us either receiving the goods, or receiving proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.

What happens if my refund is late or missing?

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please use the Contact us link.
